8:50 a.m. - 2007-07-21 ...and speaking of car, I guess the search has been going okay. My uncle called me the other day at work, and told me that he found a lot of really nice cars for a little over $2,000. He actually said he was going to call one dude and make a deal with him...well, we'll see. *fingers crossed* Right now, since I got paid yesterday, I have over $1800 saved...I just really really want to find a good car before summer ends. Lately, I have also begun making plans for my trip back to Erie...I just can't believe that I am already at this point! I swear, sometimes I feel like I am sitting atop a giant "fastforward" button. In about a week, I have to go to the store and buy extra luggage, sheets, blankets, and anythingelse extra that I may need for my new apartment. I never mentioned my new roomates, did I? Well, their names are Elizabeth and Shaundra. We have another girl living with us, but never met her. *shrug* But anyways, the three of us met at Starbucks right before vacation started. They seem like cool girls. One thing I don't think i'm going to like that much about them is that they're both strict Christians. As a matter of fact, the first question asked by the both of them was if I went to church...*cough* NO! But to this day, I am still wondering why my last roomates, Shannon and Jess, didn't pick me to be their roomate again. I mean, it's not like we were one of those roomates that didn't speak, we actually partied, hung out, and drank a lot together! Of course, there were times where they'd go off to some party in Penn State and not invite me, or, like for St. Patty's Day, plan something with me and then go off without me and have a fantastic drunken night anyway, but I still felt like they were my friends somehow. *shrug* I guess i'll never know. I guess they came in as the two best friends from Pittsburgh, and went back home as the two best friends from Pittsburgh. This year they will be rooming with this other girl from our hall named Krista and HER best friend Sabra...good luck with that! Atleast this year, I won't have to worry about school authorities finding pot in my room. But overall, I am not really looking forward to going back to Erie. Thing is, I don't really have anybody to go back to. I have one friend, Cara, who's cool...but her boyfriend will be there this year, and that won't be much fun for me=( I just NEED another drinking buddy. I have been keeping in touch with Tony (the Italian stallion) but I'm not sure if that'll really take me anywhere...*sigh* But then again, this will definately be my "deciding year." If things are all of a sudden going great for me, then i'll come back, but if things continue to be shitty, I am transferring to SUNY Buffalo...and even if Buffalo turns out to not be any better than Gannon, atleast I tried, right? Serenity now, insanity later.
