2007 : A year in review
Well it's that time again...time for my year in review.
Let's get straight to it.
2007 was a year of many goods...but a whole lot of bads as well. It was one of those years where I was either manic or miserable.
Let us first examine the goods of this year:
1)Got a car.
2)Got a summer job.
3)Got to dance with McDreamy.
4)Got inducted into Phi Eta Sigma.
5)Got almost straight A's for the fall '07 semester.
6)Made the Dean's list again.
7)Learned to knit and am a pro.
8)Homecoming 2007...'nuff said.
9)Pierced my right nipple.
...and now for the bads:
1) My relationship with Sean failed.
2)My best friend Britanny left Gannon for good.
3)My entire summer was shitty.
4)Was rejected by two guys I was interested in.
5)Continued to be a miserable loner.
6)Didn't drink and party as much as I had liked to.
7)Started smoking cigarettes again.
8)Got stuck with a stupid, self-centered roomate.
9)Ended up in an apartment where I am the only person that's single.
10)Although I do have a car, it has problems, thus I couldn't drive it at all.
...so it is fair to say that the bads slightly outweighed the goods this year. So am I happy that 2007 is almost over? Yes sirree!
Frankly, if 2008 is anything like this past year, I will kill myself.
I have been updating my other d'land blog a lot lately. The stories have for the most part been dialogues, but hey, they are interesting. I discovered that writing dialogues is way more fun and less involved than writing a short story or writing poetry...but anyways!
