Blame it on the Bahamanian rain
I have never explained my roomate situation and the shit that's been going on around here, so I will do so now.

Truth is, things have changed since we first moved in August.

When we first moved, we were all friends, or semi-friends, atleast. I shared the room across the hall with Chelsea, and we definitely got along. We talked a lot and went to dinner together on many occasions. I was also very civil with Elizabeth, and even Shaundra, who I as well used to go out and watch movies with a lot.

But in the next month, things would change for us...drastically.

It all started with Elizabeth and Shaundra not getting along with eachother. I guees Shaundra had some annoying habits that Elizabeth didn't like, and Elizabeth had some habits that Shaundra didn't like, and things got so bad that eventually Elizabeth settled for sleeping on the couch every night.

This made me feel bad for Elizabeth, so I decided to be the bigger person, and agreed to swap rooms with Elizabeth. The day that I moved into the room, Shaundra had told me that she was puzzled and that Elizabeth didn't tell her that she was swapping rooms with me...they stopped talking to eachother right then and there.

Meanwhile, I was in the room with Shaundra, and things were great at first. She still spoke to me, was still civil with me, etc. But after a few weeks, she just grew ice cold and stopped talking to me for no apparent reason. She would also do annoying things like lock me out of the room and put her fan right in front of my dresser.

Chelsea, in the meanwhile, had stopped talking to me as well...I guess the fact that we no longer shared a room played a role in this.

At this point, the only person I was still on a talking basis with was Elizabeth.

And apparently Elizabeth and Chelsea weren't speaking either, and I guess there were things about Elizabeth that annoyed Chelsea and she complained about it.

Eventually, we slowly went from not speaking to eachother at all, to forming two separate alliances; Chelsea and Shaundra versus Elizabeth and I.

Last week, Elizabeth actually told me in philosophy that she thinks Shaundra and Chelsea gossip about her behind her back because everytime they see her they either get quiet or laugh. Not cool.

And right after she tells me this, it comes to our attention that one of the two other girls had requested a meeting reguarding all of the issues we've been having. So, of course, we go to this meeting and are led to believe that Chelsea was the one who requested it, as she spoke the most.

Pretty much, she complained about Elizabeth's habits, and actually went on to bring up the fact that our apartment's communication problems were sudden and unexplained. Elizabeth and I put in our two cents as well, and I pretty much insinuated that Shaundra intimidated the hell out of me for no reason. ...of course, Shaundra just sat there and said nothing.

As expected though, this meeting didn't solve anything, and everything is still relatively the same.

I do not like Shaundra as a person at all anymore, and am sad that things aren't the way they were when we first moved in.

I blame it on Shaundra.
